D. Gorton, a partner in this project, grew up in Greenville, Mississippi. He was a member of the Bachelor's Club, who were the escorts for the Delta Debutantes at their Cotillion, and was a member while at Ole Miss of Kappa Alpha Order, the fraternity started by Robert E.
